Today is Veterans Day in the United States. I want to take the time to thank all of those who have served, and continue to serve, our country. I think we all know someone personally that has served in the armed forces. Both my grandfathers, who are no longer with us, served during World War II – one was a merchant marine and the other was in the army. One of my very close friends has served in Iraq and is home safe now. It’s important to take a minute of your day to say thank you to those who have served. Without them, we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today.
