Can’t believe I just past the 3-year mark on July 24th. That’s a long time to commit to a website that really doesn’t bring in any money. For the love of the game, right?
I started this blog with the intentions to chronicle my “make money online” journey. My second blog post talked about the “big three” websites I owned. I am proud to say that I still own one of those sites today, Fight Song Lyrics. FSL is a great site to own because it doens’t require any content updates. It’s hands off, just the way all websites should be. The other two “big three” websites are long gone, but that’s ok. I’ve moved on to bigger and better things now.
Over the last three years you’ve seen me blog about websites, my job, my wedding, vacations, etc. I pretty much haven’t held anything back. Recently, I shifted the focus of this blog from websites/making money to more personal stuff. About 1-2 years ago I got really tired of always trying to find money making tips or website tips to blog about. It got boring and I hated doing it. Now I only blog when I feel like it, and when I do it’s often something I enjoy or want to share.
Over the years I’ve also gone through probably a dozen design changes. I’ve had this current one for several months now and it seems to do it’s job.
Just want to thank all my loyal readers and RSS subscribers. Not sure how many of you have been here since the beginning, but I’d like to give a special thanks to you! There’s no telling what the future holds for this blog, but I’m pretty confident that I’ll still be writing here a year from now.
