Yeah, the best country in the world. We're eight TRILLION dollars in debt, that's increasing tremendously because of the same policies that McCain wants to follow. Our economy is bloody collapsing, the dollar is dropping, oil is rising again, and investors are hiding with the tails between their legs. You say that he couldn't decide which way to vote? That shows that he isn't an irrational person who votes for the first thing that comes his way like McCain who supported the war in Iraq for what reason? Al Qaeda? Al Qaeda showed up AFTER we invaded. And yes, we invaded.

Haha, CHANGE - Obama couldn't even decide which way he wanted to vote in the senate over 160 times... is that a behavior of a "change promising" mover and shaker? To me, it's more representative of an individual who's got "no balls" and won't stand up for anything. He's also a screaming socialist who forgot how to properly pay the respect to our national anthem. Sure, he will keep your income tax in check if you're in the right bracket, BUT he will raise capital gains tax, death tax, business income tax among others. What do you think will happen to prices if businesses are asked to pay a higher tax? They will obviously pass it on to the consumer, others will simply join the crowd and move to China.
We don't need change in this country, it's the best country in the world, just see how many people are trying to come here!

I'm with Link on this one. The whole 'executive experience' mumbo jumbo is ridiculous. What executive experience does McCain have and you're voting for him? You've got a woman who is in control of the Alaskan Air National Guard...And what has she done? You've got a woman who LOVED pork barrel spending until she realized she wasn't going to get enough. You've got a woman who can't even answer questions posed to her by a reporter, how is she going to be a President if McCain dies? You've got a woman who doesn't even know what the Bush Doctrine is.

More experience than Obama? Obama as a STATE Senator represented the same number of people in his DISTRICT that Palin represented in her STATE. Don't tell me that Palin has more experience...Obama has been in politics for over a decade. Palin has been a governor for...twenty two months and then a mayor of a little town. Don't tell me that she has experience.

And I don't even get how we can believe that another four years of Bush is going to do us any good. Let's spend another ten billion a month on a pointless war. And how about the fact that the middle class is going to get MORE money in tax returns under Obama than under McCain. Amazing, huh? So, we're left with two choices...The same old stuff or some actual change. I vote change. I vote Obama.

I'm behind the McCain/Palin ticket.

Something about Obama just scares me. I can't put my finger on it but there are some nasty demons in his closet. I don't say skeletons because it's not past deeds that will come to light but possibly backers that we don't know about with ulterior motives that make Bush&Co look tame

I'm a Republican myself but even I can't get behind this McCain/Palin ticket...

Palin's "execute experience" is a joke. I wish people would stop using that argument. She couldn't even handle being the mayor of a town of 9,000 people so the city had to hire an administrator to help her. When she moved to the governor's job she left her hometown millions of dollars in debt and stuck in litigation over bad real estate projects.

While governor she supported the Bridge to Nowhere until everyone in the media lambasted it and Ted Stephens. Now she's some freedom fighter against poor spending and pork barrel projects? Tell that to all of the lobbyists she paid to help get Alaska more federal money.

Again, I'm a Republican for a variety of reasons but I just think we've got a real bad draw with McCain and Palin. Even if we win. McCain is much too old and out of touch and Palin was a celebrity/media pick to draw in independent voters. Plus, selecting Palin destroys any ammunition the GOP had in its gun about Obama not being experienced enough.

I just don't see how you can say a woman who was mayor of a village and the governor of a state who's largest city is smaller than Corpus Christi, Texas is qualified to lead the United States of America if/when McCain passes away while in office.

Palin has more executive experience then Obama and Biden combined. She's also done more as the Govenor of Alaska than Obama has as a Senator. Obama's been on the campaign trail since he was voted in.

Their is hypocracy in the air.

Don't you think it's unfair to question Obama's experience when McCain has just recruited Sarah Palin to be his running mate. She has less experience than Obama and is second to the predsident.
