I prefer solo also, i find that working with a partner is great until it comes to the money. Someone also feels like they deserve more, at least thats the case with me

Unless your partner is worth more than gold to you. Like Sean said about partnership’s, there is good to them when different skill sets are combined and work well together, sometimes managing sites need more than one person

I would like to work on some projects with a partner, but it would have to be a local partnership where we could meet up and work together at times.

I’ve operated 2 online business and both of them were partnerships. Both times i hated having a partner with my business lol. From now on I go solo! unless my partner has a different skill set than me than I would love to have a partner on board but other than that I only go solo. great post

That’s why I like to get involved with partners that have different skillsets. On one of my sites, I do all the design/development, while my partner manages the community + does content. This leaves a nice separation — but it still gives me the benefit of having a partner. Personally, I find myself becoming a lot more motivated when I have a partner (because I’m letting someone else down if I fail).

Working with a partner would be very difficult in my situation. I’m always on the move and never know when I will be home to work online. I also put in a full time job, so until blogging is my job then I don’t see me being able to work in a partnership enviroment.
