I'm a fisherman myself and although the site looks like something I'd actually use, the current theme just ... feels weird. I think at least a picture of some fish or fishermen or something fish related in the header would be very suitable. And also, brown/tan and green I think would give the site a more rugged feel... but at the same time, working with those colors would be a bit of a challenge because they are not nearly as eye pleasing as blue on white...
