About a week ago, my buddy Andrew from Business Blog started talking to me about a small promotion he was running to spread the word on his blog. He decided to give out t-shirts (I think about 25 in total) to anyone who wanted one but promised to post a picture of him/herself wearing the shirt. And also giving a link back.

That’s pretty nice of Andy if you ask me. At $4 per shirt plus $3 or so in shipping depending on how far you live from Virginia, Andrew probably spent close to $200 in the whole promotion… that’s for 25 shirts though. So is $200 worth getting 25 pictures and 25 linkbacks to your blog? Well, it could be… I guess that all depends on who signed up for the free shirt.

Either way, he now has pictures of a bunch of goofy bloggers wearing his t-shirts. “Adsense is my boss and he doesn’t shout!” Technically, my shirt should have said replaced Adsense with Yahoo Publisher Network, but o-well. The statement still holds true.
