I’m on vacation today so I’m not going to take up too much time. Today, July 4th, is Independence Day. In the United States, Independence Day is a federal holiday celebrating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain.
For those of you not familiar with our Independence day…we celebrate our nations birth with fireworks, barbeque, and apple pie. Barbeques generally consist of hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, and chicken wings. Top that off with an ice cold beer and a slice of apple pie and you have yourself one hell of a festival.
I’m a very patriot person, so this is one of my favorite holidays. I hope everyone in America enjoys their day off and celebrates accordingly. Happy Fourth!
