Valueclick Media reviewed my appeal yesterday afternoon and accepted me back into their network! Yay!!! VCM is an excellent compliment to my network. A couple hundred dollars back in the bank.
Lessons learned:
- Have a backup CPM network
- Don’t accept a termination without asking for an appeal
- Read the TOS even if it’s 20 pages long
- Don’t give ad companies an email address you never check

1I did some SEO work for a company that had about 500 websites running Adsense. Anyway, one of their designers, who was unfamiliar with Google’s policies, added pictures to the Adsense block, and got them banned. The 2-3 months it took to get Google to reinstate them cost them $1000’s. So yes, no matter what types of ads you run, you should always have a back-up provider.
Congrats on the reinstatement!
