I’m starting to like this! Another small step towards my goals of earning $50/day consistently by the end of 2007. It is now April 2nd and I have surpassed $50 from contextual ads for the first time.

I haven’t done anything different since my last daily earnings record. Just two weeks ago I posted a daily earnings record of $47.98. I am proud to announce that yesterday from Yahoo Publisher Network, Adsense and Adrbite combined I earned $52.48. That’s almost $5 higher than my previous record.

  • Yahoo Publisher Network: $40.78
  • Google Adsense: $5.99
  • Adbrite: $5.71

Yahoo obviously led the way. The only site I am running YPN on is Pimp Myspace. Traffic is steadily growing on the site and hits around 3500-4000/day on average. I’ve been adding more and more unique layouts that no doubt contributes to the increase in traffic.

I really don’t know why I haven’t just converted all my sites to YPN yet. I think I’m just scared because some of my fan sites and such don’t get much traffic but still make $1-2/day from Google Ads. I believe that the reason I’m making money there is because the ads are targeted to perfection. It’s different on Myspace type sites because you get so many uniques that people click on the ads by accident or are duped into it.

Adbrite is another ad network that I only run on my two Myspace Resource sites, Pimp Myspace and Free Myspace Layouts. The interstitial ads pay very well. I was at nearly $10/day from Adbrite, but it recently dropped back down to $6-7/day average.

Once again, I doubt I will repeat my $50 today or tomorrow. It is just too random right now to predict when it will happen again. On March 30th I made around $22, and yesterday I made $52. Hopefully in the next month or two I can start to flatten the curve and have my income be more predictable.
