Hi. I Agree, I think it is a good alternative to generate income, it is another good option to monetize our blogs.

its a percentage lyndon, not just .50 cents. I think the payout is 90/10, i sold an ad for 25.00 and kept 22.50

Check is actually quite a good alternative for payouts, as not everyone can have a paypal account. For advertisers, I believe they would go for a more visible placement, such as the top of your sidebar, or in the header of your site.

I plan on adding Advolcano to my blog (and other sites) - looks like a good way to add revenue to any site.

So they only pay by check? It would be great if they would also support PayPal... or if you could use your earnings to buy advertising for your own sites.

Always good to have other revenue streams, but is having an ad right below your blogroll worth much? I don't think it's worth $5/week... hopefully I'm wrong and Jay sees some return from it.

To be honest, if it weren't for this post I'd have never seen it.

Sounds like another good alternative for some fixed ads. Is the $0.50 fee a flat one, or a percentage of what you earn?
