[...] I took the advice of Marc, one of the guys who comments on my blog, and started a new site. About a month ago he suggested a site idea about a rookie blog. This site won’t be geared towards user generated content. I will write the content myself. Anyways, I decided to make a Rookie Blog, just as he suggested. There are no posts on it yet, but I did put up a header. I think the header needs some work, but it’s a start. I’ll probably write my first post today or tomorrow. Without further adu, I present to you Rookie Spot, the number 1 source for everything Rookies. [...]

Congrats on the earnings David. I think you might be spreading yourself too thin with fansites though. If you want to make it big, you have to hang on to your properties for an extended amount of time (like a few years) and continue to grow them. I think being a little more generalized would help. For example, a rookie blog or something where there niche is bigger than a single individual. I mentioned this once before, I think you need to try and offload some of the creative work, a la 'user generated content'. Also if you hold onto and develop a blog in wider niche than a single player, you could get guest bloggers who would write posts just so they could get a link in the post. The only way to do this though is to build up a single blog until it has good traffic, which takes time. Keep it up, I visit you everyday. Also one reason I check here everyday, is because you post more frequently than the other young entrepreneur blogs. I think frequent posting is very important to developing traffic as well.

I have to say, David, that I recommend keeping it yourself. You could update it yourself or just choose your favorite and update it every day while you sell the other three off. But I think that if you want to see an increase in your Adsense profits, you need to continue adding more to your network. But that is just my advice.
